Amazing video and an incredible story Peter, glad you’re coping so well and have such great support. Still love you blog and often delve back in to remind me of past gigs and I’m sure it will keep me going for quite a while yet.
Good luck for the future.

Hi – great video, glad to see how you’re doing – I did wonder how you were after I read your son’s post about your accident. Also glad to hear that you’re going to gigs again, hope you get the chance to blog about them soon. Maybe our paths will cross one day, I moved back to the NE in 2014 and have enjoyed going to gigs in Newcastle again after 30 years away – especially love the Cluny!
I wondered why you hadn’t updated your amazing blog in a while! Watched the video and I couldn’t believe what had happened – I admire your courage and resilience facing this head on and the support looks first class. All the best going forward.
Peter I’ve just across your video. Your blogs gave me joy over a couple of years but hadn’t checked back with you for a number of years. As a Sunderland lad myself we had attended so many of the same concerts and your musings brought me so many happy memories and I loved your writing. I am so sorry to hear of yours accident and Marie’s death but glad that you are managing some amount of recovery. Rock music defined us, brought us joy and opened up so much in life. Like you family and rock music are the two most important things. Take care, be kind to yourself and keep rocking. I don’t think I have ever met you but I think of you fondly. Good luck
All the best for the future from a total stranger. We are of the same age and the same area and I went to a fair few of the same gigs. I have very much enjoyed this site and found it fascinating and thanks for doing it.
